Waste Hauler Recycling Information
Diverting waste from the landfill and putting it into the recycling stream helps the environment and saves you money on your waste disposal costs at Boston Mountain.
Boston Mountain offers a discounted rate for residential curbside recyclables that are collected separately from trash. We provide, for free, green bags that are labeled for #1 and #2 plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and steel cans, and labeled blue bags for paper and paperboard. Cardboard can be collected separately from the bags and taken to our materials recovery facility.
Customizable recycling education is available for haulers to put on their website, social media, and/or hand out to customers. Education materials are available in both English and Spanish.
Waste Hauler Licensing Information
Solid waste haulers are required by law to be licensed by Boston Mountain Solid Waste District, if transporting waste within Washington or Madison Counties.
