Now Accepting 2016 Solid Waste Mini-Grant Applications!
We are so excited to announce our 2016 Solid Waste Mini-Grant program! Our mini-grant is an opportunity for schools, nonprofits, and civic organizations in Washington or Madison County to apply for up to $500 to fund their waste-reduction project. What qualifies as a waste-reduction project? The possibilities are endless, and we encourage you to get creative! Past projects include a water bottle refill station, classroom recycling bins, compost bin building materials, reusable cafeteria utensils, and an educational recycling display- to name a few!
Grants are due on November 13, 2016 (just in time for America Recycles Day on November 15!). Recipients will be notified of rewards by December 2, after which they will have one year to spend the funds. See here for the announcement and details, and here for the application. Email all final application materials to email@example.com. We can’t wait to see your projects!!!
